A Tree, Boy and his Dog
Today is surgery day to implant moms port. A port in a catheter placed in one of your larger veins either on the left or right side of your chest. It is used to administer mom's chemotherapy, fluids, draw blood, and any other medications that mom will need. The port was inserted to keep from having to go through her veins in her arms or hands so many times .  We waited by her side in pre-op and her procedure went great . While she was in surgery we took a short break at the gazebo in the middle of the lake and watched the swans.

In recovery she looked great and was ready to eat so that's where we went. She enjoyed some soup before we headed home for the day.

Today's Charm of the Day is a Silver Cross, representing placing everything in God's Hands.
